Editing is a collaborative process with the aim of engaging the reader while preserving the author´s voice. I edit hard or electronic copy and query as necessary to preserve that voice.
I have been a voracious reader for more than fifty years, though it was by living abroad the past fifteen that I acquired a renewed interest in the intricacies of the English language. While I have a background in Communication and Psychology, I enjoy editing a variety of subjects, and being fluent in Spanish, my skills are especially appropriate for newly translated works (Spanish to English). I will also research and fact-check as it comes into play, and I am equally meticulous when editing tables, notes, bibliographies, and references.
